How it works

Unicode gives several full digit sets alongside its letter styles — Mathematical Bold, Double-Struck, Monospace, and the Enclosed Alphanumerics block for circled and bubble numbers. Each style swaps 0-9 for the matching character from that set, so the styled numbers are still plain text — they paste and display the same everywhere, no font install and no image needed.

Frequently asked questions

Do all styles support every digit 0-9?

Yes — every style listed here has a real Unicode character for each digit, so no number gets skipped or left in plain text.

Can I style numbers and letters together?

Yes — type numbers and letters together and the same style applies to both, since each style maps its own full alphabet and digit set at once.

Why does circled 0 look different from circled 1-9?

Unicode's circled-digit block doesn't include a circled zero in the same numbered sequence as 1-9, so it uses the separate "circled digit zero" character instead — visually consistent, just a different original codepoint.
