Frequently asked questions

How does the fire effect work?

It fills your styled text with a yellow-to-orange-to-red gradient and adds an orange glow behind it on the canvas — the same rendering technique used for the Glow effect, just with flame colors instead of your theme's accent color.

Can I get fire text as copy-paste text instead of an image?

No — fire is a rendered gradient and glow, which only exists as pixels on a canvas. There's no Unicode character that looks like flames, so this only works as a downloadable image, not pasteable text.

Can I change the color theme behind the fire text?

Yes — the background theme (Dark, Cream, Yellow, and more) still applies; only the text itself is recolored by the fire gradient, independent of your theme choice.

Does fire text work with non-Latin scripts like Cyrillic or Japanese?

Yes, if you switch to "Real font" mode — the fire effect is applied to whatever's rendered on the canvas, whether that's a Unicode-styled Latin string or real-font Cyrillic, Korean or Japanese text.

Can I make the flame text a different shape, like a heart?

Yes — pick Heart or Spiral from the Shape option, the fire effect applies to any shape.
