Strikethrough Text Generator
Cross out, underline or slash through your text using Unicode combining marks — no rich-text editor required, and it works on Cyrillic too.

Examples
- S̶t̶r̶i̶k̶e̶t̶h̶r̶o̶u̶g̶h̶
- U̲n̲d̲e̲r̲l̲i̲n̲e̲
How it works
These styles insert a combining mark after every character rather than swapping the character itself — a small line drawn over, under, or through each letter. Because combining marks work on any script, this is one of the few style families that fully supports Cyrillic.
Where you can use it
- "Crossed out" joke edits in captions
- Underlined emphasis in bios that don't support rich text
- Discord messages and usernames

Frequently asked questions
Will this look the same on every app?
Mostly yes, since it's built from standard combining characters. Very long strikethrough runs can occasionally render with slightly uneven spacing depending on the app's text engine.
Is there a keyboard shortcut for strikethrough?
Some apps have their own — Google Docs uses Alt+Shift+5, and Slack/Discord use *~text~*-style markdown — but those only work inside that specific app. This tool works everywhere, including bios, usernames and apps with no strikethrough shortcut at all.
