How it works
This reverses the order of your characters — it doesn't flip individual letter shapes, since a true mirror-image glyph doesn't exist in Unicode for most letters. It's real plain text either way, so it pastes and displays correctly anywhere.
Where you can use it
- A backward-reading username or caption for a puzzle post
- Testing whether a field handles reversed input correctly
- A quick novelty effect for captions and comments

Frequently asked questions
Does this flip each letter's shape too, like a real mirror?
No — only the order of characters is reversed, not the shape of each letter. A true letter-by-letter mirror image doesn't have a reliable Unicode equivalent for most of the alphabet, so we keep this to what's actually accurate: reversed order, real characters, no invented glyphs.
Is this the same as the Upside Down style?
Related but different — Upside Down also reverses the order and additionally swaps each letter for an upside-down-looking character. Mirror only reverses the order, keeping your original letters intact.
Does this work with any language?
Yes — reversing character order works the same regardless of script, including Cyrillic and other non-Latin text.
