How it works
Script and Bold Script pull from Unicode's Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols block — added in 2001 for math notation, not styling, which is why a handful of capital letters look slightly off in some fonts: those specific letters were already encoded elsewhere (in the older Letterlike Symbols block) before the math block existed, so the styled version reuses that older character instead of a matching new one. Italic and Bold Italic come from a separate, more complete part of the same block and don't have that gap.

Frequently asked questions
Does cursive text work with Cyrillic letters?
Script Unicode letters only exist for the Latin alphabet, so Cyrillic characters in your input are kept exactly as typed instead of being transformed.
What's the difference between Script and Italic here?
Script mimics handwritten calligraphy with connected-looking loops; Italic just slants a regular letterform, closer to a typed font tilted sideways. Bold Script and Bold Italic are the same two looks with heavier strokes.
Will cursive text paste correctly everywhere?
It's plain Unicode text, not an image or a font file, so it pastes as-is anywhere text is accepted — Instagram, Discord, iMessage, even print. A very small number of older apps with limited font fallback may show a placeholder box for the rare unsupported character.
